Peterborough New Dance presents Emergency #16 at Market Hall, 336 George St. The annual festival of new dance and performance, presented by Peterborough New Dance, is now in its 16th year.

The Peterborough Public Library presents award-winning Canadian author Diane Schoemperlen with a reading from her new novel, At a Loss for Words: a Post-Romantic Novel, at 7 p.m. at the Library (345 Aylmer St. N., Peterborough).
