Rehearsal Space
This exciting new facility-based service to the arts community includes two new dedicated rehearsal rooms:
• A 20’ x 16’, professionally soundproofed music rehearsal/recording room with acoustically treated double theatre wall construction. This room has 5 dedicated circuits and an air exchanger. This room can be used for rehearsal or studio recording through the audio suite of the Media Centre.
• A 25’ x 20’, non-amplified rehearsal room targeted for theatre auditions, workshops, rehearsals and video/photography shoots (featuring a “Chroma-green visual effects wall”). This room can also be used as an additional non-amplified audio recording room.
Both rehearsal rooms are accessible 24-hours a day, seven days a week to members and may serve as a functions room for groups wishing to meet when the Gallery is already in use. Both rooms have access to four eight-foot meeting tables and up to 50 padded folding chairs.
There is a $5 hourly rate for use of these facilities with a Rehearsal level membership.
