MUSE Fine Film Series: "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly"

The MUSE Fine Film Series presents “The Diving Bell and the Butterfly” at 7 p.m. at Galaxy Cinemas (320 Water St., Peterborough). Diving Bell and Butterfly, winner of the best director prize at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival, is an adaptation of editor and womanizer Jean-Dominique Bauby’s revealing memoir, written after Bauby was paralysed by a massive stroke, and could communicate only by using his left eyelid. Tickets will be available at the cinema one hour prior to show time for $10. Series season passes cost $80, and can be purchased through Peterborough Centennial Museum & Archives at (705) 743-5180.
