Storytellers' Festival

The Whetung Ojibwa Arts and Crafts Centre hosts a Storytellers' Festival from 1 - 4 p.m. at the Centre (Curve Lake Reserve). The only way to truly understand the importance of storytelling in native culture and how it might also appeal to our non-native friends is to actually take part in it. Renowned storytellers will be on hand to inform, entertain, teach and, ultimately, impart a little insight to those who come to listen. This is a free event. For more information call (705) 657-3661.
