The PAU welcomes our new Managing Director Neil Muscott!

A word from our new Managing Director:

My name is Neil Muscott. I'm the new Managing Director here at the PAU. I've been living in Peterborough on and off for ten years but working in Toronto. I'm excited to be working with the local arts community. As someone who has been working in the arts for over 20 years, I know how hard it is to do your art in a world that doesn't always value or support what you do. That's why organizations like the PAU are vital to Peterborough's creative scene. Each year hundreds of artists use the PAU's rehearsal space, gallery, workshops, recording services and media centre. We've sponsored events and worked in the background to help other organizations get funding for their projects. Our role is to support and promote the arts. I look forward to meeting and working with you. Please say hello the next time you are visiting the PAU.

The PAU is moving!

Yes, we are moving but don't panic. We're only moving a few meters into the east part of our current building at 378 Aylmer. We will still have the gallery, media center, rehearsal space and other activities. Why the move? By reducing our floor space, we are saving significant rent money that can be invested in our programs and services.

This move will take place over the month of April; by May 1st we will be in the new space. You can help us with the move - renovations, painting, lifting- in exchange for fees owed and future services OR just to help the PAU build a better home. To volunteer please contact Ian Osborn at 749-6718 or at ossongs@hotmail.com.

Call for Board Members:

The PAU is a member driven organization. Our Board is made up of artists from the community who want to help the arts in Peterborough through the PAU's programs. It's an exciting time to join the PAU and very fulfilling to see your ideas in action. This is a hands-on board with a time commitment of about six hours a month. If you are interested in joining the PAU board, please contact Tim Wilson, Nominating Committee at biginsudan@gmail.com for details.

The PAU Annual General Meeting:

The PAU Annual General Meeting will take place on Monday, May 12, at 7 pm. The AGM is a chance for PAU members to elect new Board members, learn about the plans for the new year, and meet the many people who make the PAU work. Please join us in our new space on Monday, May 12. Watch our website for details.
