4th Line Theatre is accepting submissions for its 2008 New Play Competition. Submissions should reflect 4th Line’s mandate to preserve and promote our Canadian cultural heritage through the development and presentation of regionally based, environmentally staged, historical dramas. Playwrights who have had a full-length work for the stage professionally produced are invited to submit story ideas, draft treatments or draft scenes of a proposed play project for seed funding. At a later date successful projects may be eligible for commissioning. Winners will be announced May 5. All submissions should include the artist’s curriculum vitae, a project description and two samples of previous work.
