Earth Hour, Saturday March 29, 7pm to 9pm at City Hall. Turn off your lights, fight global warming! Join the festivities and make a difference. PAU board member Spatch will be spinning fire at 7:30pm.
The PAU presents Spirit Tree: a solo exhibition of new work by local artist David Parson. April 4 - 18 at the PAU gallery. Opening reception Friday, April 4 from 7pm - 9pm. Parson has exhibited locally and abroad in Denmark. This new exhibition is a look at trees in a somewhat whimsical way. Please join us at the PAU for this thoughtful and playful exhibition.
Spirits, spirits, spirits, an art show at Artspace, 378 Aylmer Street. April 4, 7pm to 10pm. Presented by the Peterborough Folk Festival and Casual Living, with musical guests Ohbijou, Timber Timbre and Sean Conway. Admission is free.The Cooked and Eaten Poetry Workshop Series: April is Poetry Month, and The Cooked and Eaten Reading Series presents a series of poetry workshops at the PAU and other venues on Saturday, April 19. The PAU is moving! Yes, we are moving but don't panic. We're only moving a few meters into the east part of our current building at 378 Aylmer. This move will take place over the month of April; by May 1st we will be in the new space.

The PAU Annual General Meeting: The PAU Annual General Meeting will take place on Monday, May 12, at 7 pm. The AGM is a chance for PAU members to elect new Board members, learn about the plans for the new year, and meet the many people who make the PAU work. Please join us in our new space on Monday, May 12.
Memberships: We are currently in the process of updating and revising our membership database. If you are interested in becoming a member at the PAU, or if your membership has lapsed, we would be happy to set up a membership for you. Members' Websites: We are in the process of creating a links page to our members' websites. If you or your organization have a website and would like a link from the PAU site, please e-mail media@pauart.com with your URL and a brief description.
PAUL Newsletter: All PAU members are invited to submit articles, event listings, photographs and illustrations to the PAUL newsletter. Please send your submissions to paul@pauart.com.

Attention young career oriented artists 17 and older: The class Ideas and Practices in Contemporary Art will host the recipients of The Richard Hayman Mentorship Scholarship at the Art School of Peterborough. April 3, 4, 5 - Emergency #16, Market Hall, 336 George St. The annual festival of new dance and performance, presented by Peterborough New Dance, is now in its 16th year.
