Welcome Death is a murder-mystery inspired by the virtually unknown story of Elizabeth Deyell, a Millbrook woman murdered in 1873 at the age of 27. The Coroner’s inquest was unable to identify who murdered Deyell, and therefore the case has remained unsolved for 135 years.
