Call for Public Art Proposals

The City of Peterborough and the Art Gallery of Peterborough, in conjunction with the Peterborough Fire Department, are extending a Call for Public Art Proposals relative to a major commission of a contemporary memorial dedicated to firefighters in Peterborough's history who have lost their lives in the line of duty or due to a work-related disease. Proposals are sought from professional artists, landscape architects, and urban deisgners throughout the province of Ontario. Applications are to be received no later than June 30, 2008.
