Free Audio for Video Workshop with Ian Osborn

This one hour workshop in the PAU media center will deal specifically with audio for video. The workshop will address: (1) basics of audio capture (2) useful microphone types, and (3) microphone and boom techniques. If time allows, a question and answer period will follow.

A veteran audio engineer with more than three decades experience in all aspects of the music industry, Ian has spent the past four years working in the Arts Umbrella's Media Centre, mentoring members in many aspects of audio/visual production. During his career, Ian has released eleven CDs of his own work, composed fifteen original scores for video and dance performance, editing a dozen independent video works and accumulated some 400 CD production credits.
